About Paramita

The question I couldn't shake...

What if organizations were built not just to perform well, but to genuinely improve the lives of the people inside them?

The name “Paramita” comes from a trip I took to a small mountain town in India while preparing to begin my master’s program in organizational psychology. I spent several mornings at the Dalai Lama’s temple listening to teachings on the Paramitas, often translated as “perfections” or qualities we continually work toward.

At the same time, I was thinking hard about leadership, workplace culture, communication, and the reality that too many organizations burn people out in the

pursuit of results.

Somewhere between those two worlds, the idea for Paramita Consulting started to take shape.

My work is built around the belief that healthy organizations are created intentionally. Strong leadership, strategic planning, operational efficiency, psychological safety, and clear communication are not separate ideas. They all influence one another. When they align, teams become more engaged, more resilient, and more effective.

I’m not interested in corporate buzzwords or feel-good culture statements that never leave the conference room. I care about practical systems that help organizations function better while also creating environments where people can do meaningful work and actually enjoy their lives a little more.

No one is perfect. Luckily, you don't need to be perfect to work toward perfection.

Hi, I'm Rhett...

My work has always centered around the people behind the organization.

Over nearly two decades in logistics, supply chain, recruiting, operations, and leadership development, I have led teams across a wide range of environments from frontline operations to executive leadership. My experience includes working with large multinational organizations, leading organizational culture initiatives, and helping teams navigate growth, communication challenges, and operational change. Along the way, I earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, which helped give structure and research-backed insight to many of the leadership and organizational challenges I had already been navigating in the real world.

I've served in a variety of roles and one of my favorites was as Director of Recruiting and Employee Engagement, where I got to help reshape organizational culture through the development of a renewed mission, vision, and company “why,” aligning leadership, engagement, and long-term strategy around a more people-centered approach.

That balance between operational performance and human psychology continues to shape my work today.

I believe organizations function best when people feel connected to the mission, trusted by leadership, and equipped to communicate clearly with one another. Which is why I use tools like the Kantor Baseline Instrument and The Fearless Organizational Scan with my clients.

My work combines strategic planning, leadership development, psychological safety, communication training, and operational efficiency into practical systems that help organizations perform at a higher level without losing sight of the human beings doing the work. A holistic view creates holistic solutions.

The work is grounded in both data and lived leadership experience. Whether analyzing organizational trends, facilitating team development, or helping leaders navigate culture change, Paramita was founded on building environments where people are more engaged, more effective, and more fulfilled in their work.

I'm based in Springfield with my wife and daughter. Outside of work you can catch me on a motorcycle, playing some music, doing some meditation, fanatically watching Arsenal FC (COYG!), and finding ways I can get involved in my community.

That's just the short version. We could go longer over coffee... hit me up!
